Get Help for Depression and Bipolar Disorder

Mood Disorder Treatment (Depression, Bipolar)
*If you are contemplating suicide or self-harm, call (suicide prevention hotline?) immediately.
Changing moods are a part of life. But some for some people, their moods are very extreme, or they find it difficult to shift out of them and back into a balanced state.
Depression is different from sadness. It’s more severe, longer-lasting, and it can take over your life. Activities you normally love to do don’t bring you joy anymore. If you’re depressed, you might be starting to wonder if you’ll ever feel any better than you do now.
The answer is yes, you can. But depression is not a choice; you can’t just ‘snap out of it’. It’s a real psychological condition, and getting help from a qualified professional can help you begin to heal.

- Prolonged, excessively elevated mood
- Irritability or anger
- Disproportionate optimism
- Compulsive decision-making
- Racing thoughts, obsessive future planning
- Fast-paced speech
- Sleeplessness
- Difficulty paying attention
